As of 18th of January 2010 we started to archive our TV broadcast videos at a bitrate of 1000 kb/s (1000 kilo bits per second, or ~1 Mega bit per second, 1 Mbit/s). What does that mean ? 1000 kb/s or 1Mbit/s is amount of data that is needed to be downloaded per second to your PC while watching our videos. So that amount is twice as high as previous 512 kb/s bit rate.
After long research, 98% of high speed Internet users in the United States have basic Internet service higher than 1,000 kpbs speed for download. It could be possible that a very small percentage of our viewers (less than 2%) may experience difficulties in viewing videos.  If you are one of them and have trouble viewing the high quality video, contact your Internet service provider to upgrade your Internet service to increase download speed. For a few dollars more you will be able to experience these new improvements in our broadcasts.
If you have a slow internet connection (dial-up), you will experience a difficulty to play video or it will be buffering very often, your connection is too slow. Your connection needs to handle download 1000kb/s  in real time (some files in our archives only 512kbps). If you have DSL connection to the internet check with your internet provider what is your download speed, what is your download bandwith. It should be at least 1500kbps or ~1,5Mbit/s , there needs to be room for real download capabilities. If you have cable connection your download capability is probably all right.
Windows Media Player 9 or higher needs to be installed in your PC.Windows Media Player download .
Internet Browsers:

Internet Explorer 7 or higher.
As for Firefox, you might need to install this plug-in from here .
Opera web browser also might need to install this plug-in from here (same one as for Firefox), or to follow these: Using the Windows Media Player plug-in with Opera
Chrome should be all right.
and MAC users with Safari browser, use this Flip4Mac plug-in for Quick time player, then you will play back our videos.
