Interested Czech Facts: Rabi Castle is a ruined castle in the Pilsen Region. It is the largest castle ruin in the Czech Republic. Right from the very start, the castle was envisioned as a donjon-type castle.

Czech Cities & Towns:  Town of Susice lies on the Otava River and is not far from the capital of the region. The city started off as a gold-mining area, owned by the Lords of Bavaria. It was later connected to Bohemia in the 13th century. Sušice is most known for their production of safety matches which have been made for about 180 years. The town was founded by the Czech king Ottokar II of Bohemia in 1273.

Interested Czech Facts: Nebilovy Chateau is situated just south of Pilsen, in west Bohemia, Czech Republic. Today, you can admire its unique interiors furnished with 18th and 19th century furniture. The architect was Viennese Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt, although it was Jakub Auguston who carried out with the construction. Enjoy our segment about this beautiful chateau!
